Waiting For Someone To Love

Right now someone you haven’t met is out there wondering what it would be like to meet someone like you.

Finding love is a combination of many things, sometimes it is caused by random circumstance, and sometimes it is a product of a longtime friendship between two individuals. Just know that if you are looking for love chances are there is someone out there who is very compatible with you that is looking for love as well. In order to best pursue love, one should be willing to put in the effort to find it.

Doing things that allow for you to be in social situations that will help you to meet people is probably one of the most efficient tasks that you can do in order to most effectively you obtain a love interest. Never give up on love, though at times we may think that we will never find love, if we just keep a positive attitude and keep our eyes and hearts open, love will find us.

Song of the Day: Chasing Pavements

I’ve made up my mind,
Don’t need to think it over
If I’m wrong, I am right
Don’t need to look no further,
This ain’t lust
I know this is love
But, if I tell the world
I’ll never say enough
’cause it was not said to you
And that’s exactly what I need to do
If I end up with you[Chorus]
Should I give up,
Or should I just keep chasin’ pavements?
Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there
Should I give up,
Or should I just keep chasin’ pavements
Even if it leads nowhere

I build myself up
And fly around in circles
Waitin’ as my heart drops
And my back begins to tingle
Finally, could this be it

[Chorus]
Or should I give up
Or should I just keep chasin’ pavements
Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there

Should I give up
Or should I just keep chasin’ pavements
Even if it leads nowhere
Or would it be a waste
Even if I knew my place should I leave it there
Should I give up
Or should I just keep on chasin’ pavements
Should I just keep no chasin’ pavements
Ohh oh

[Chorus x2]

Tattoo Shops in Manila

It’s no surprise that tattoos are becoming more and more popular these days.   Body art is beautiful. SPOT.ph lists 10 tattoo parlors that have stringent sanitation practices, boast of state-of-the-art equipment, as well as given the thumbs up by the Department of Health and tattoo aficionados.

1.   TATTOO BY GENE TESTA

Address: 3/F Bodysenses, Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas, Pasig City
Contact number:             0917-4135626

While the mall may not be an ideal place for a tattoo parlor–what with the cluttered shops and frantic crowd–tattoo artist Gene Testa has been comfortable in one.   He should be, since he’s been in the same location for more than a decade.   His modest space does not scream “tattoo” at all.   If not for the countless photos of customers that adorn the façade of the shop, one could easily mistake the place for a dentist’s or dermatologist’s clinic.   Testa, who has been a tattoo artist for 20 years, takes his art seriously.   Aside from tattoos, they also offer tattoo reconstruction, tattoo removal, as well as henna tattoos for those who aren’t fan of the pain.

2. P & P TATTOO

P&P Tattoo ups the notch in tattooing as it introduces fresh takes on an art that’s often associated with seedy districts and shady individuals.   In fact, the shop is anything but seedy or shady.   Structured like a lounge, it has a   flatscreen TV, a wide selection of DVDs, and a video game console that keep customers busy while they’re waiting or getting inked up.   Their artists are all big names in the Philippine tattoo scene and are members of the Philippine Tattoo Artists Guild (PHILTAG).   The shop displays the countless first place awards in various tattoo categories that the group has garnered through the years, in both the local and international scene.   Because of the artists’ broad expertise and experience, they have also been chosen to judge in competitions.   P&P does tattoo cover-ups or reconstruction, body piercing and dreadlocks.   They also sell P& P merchandise like T-shirts and body jewelry.

55 Tinta’s appeal is its artistic authenticity.   It is the brainchild of Jay Contreras, Led Zeppelin Tuyay and Puto Astete and Paolo Bernaldo.   If those names seem familiar, that’s because all four are icons in the Pinoy music scene.   Contreras, Tuyay, and Astete are members of the band Kamikazee, while Bernardo (also the owner of nearby hotspot Tomato Kick) plays bass for Moonstar 88.   Keeping 55 Tinta, spic and span, meanwhile, are Ron Riofrio and Emboy Falcon.   Collectively, these artists envisioned a tattoo shop where customers can simply hang out and keep the vibe of Maginhawa Street alive.   The tattoo artists at 55 Tinta are as illustrious as its celebrated owners, exuding a sense of creativity that seems to pulsate in the area.   With seven artists under its roster, 55 Tinta boasts a wide range of style wherein every artist is given the chance to showcase their respective specialty.   Despite the star power, 55 Tinta still holds the distinction of being one of the most affordable places to get inked.

Song of the Day: Cheers

Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah

Cheers to the freaking weekend
I drink to that, yeah yeah
Oh let the Jameson sink in
I drink to that, yeah yeah
Don’t let the bastards get you down
Turn it around with another round
There’s a party at the bar everybody put your glasses up and
I drink to that, I drink to that, I drink to that
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)

Life’s too short to be sitting around miserable
People gonna talk whether you doing bad or good, yeah
Got a drink on my mind and my mind on my money, yeah
Looking so bomb, gonna find me a honey
Got my Ray-Bans on and I’m feeling hella cool tonight, yeah
Everybody’s vibing so don’t nobody start a fight, yeah-ah-ah-ah
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)

[Chorus]
Cheers to the freaking weekend
I drink to that, yeah yeah
Oh let the Jameson sink in

Don’t let the bastards get you down
Turn it around with another round
There’s a party at the bar everybody put your glasses up and
I drink to that, I drink to that
(Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)

‘Bout to hop on the bar, put it all on my card tonight, yeah
Might be mad in the morning but you know we goin hard tonight
It’s getting Coyote Ugly up in here, no Tyra
It’s only up from here, no downward spiral
Got my Ray-Bans on and I’m feeling hella cool tonight, yeah
Everybody’s vibing so don’t nobody start a fight, yeah (yeah yeah)

[Chorus]
Cheers to the freaking weekend
I drink to that, yeah yeah
Oh let the Jameson sink in
I drink to that, yeah yeah
Don’t let the bastards get you down
Turn it around with another round
There’s a party at the bar everybody put your glasses up and

The Devil’s Pool – I want to TRY this!

The aptly-named Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth. It is a small natural rock pool on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, the Victoria Falls, located along the Zambezi River on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Devil’s Pool is adjacent to Livingstone Island on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River. This is where David Livingstone first set eyes on the Victoria Falls remarking “scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”.

For most of the year, anyone foolish enough to enter the water would be instantly swept over the edge to his death.

During the dry season which usually lasts from September to December, Devil’s Pool is shallow enough that people can safely swim right to the edge before the waterfall drops more than 300 feet. You don’t get swept down by the force of the falls because of a natural rock wall just below the surface. This is as close as you can get to the thunderous roar and permanent rainbows that adorn this magnificent Natural World Wonder.

Lying right at the edge of the fall.

The Devil’s Pool

Don’t try this if you have a fear of heights.

A man and his young son looking over the waterfalls.

Only a slippery, submerged lip of rock stands between these bathers and a 100m drop over the world’s largest waterfall.

Once you get close to the right spot it takes a bit of courage to make a leap of faith, jump in from a rock, and trust you will not get swept over the edge. There is a safety line to hold onto when you’re swimming to get to Devils’ Pool in case the current is too much for you.

If you are looking for a taste of life on the edge and loves a sudden rush of adrenalin, this just has to be the place.

Tourists challenge gravity at the edge of the falls.

The Devil’s Pool experience is popular and is only possible when conditions are right, usually September – December.

One thrill-seeker is brave enough to stand on the ledge above the falls.

A father poses with his youngster perilously close to the 100m drop.

DAMN!!! I am so envious with these tough people! hahaha! :) Let me ask you, if given a chance would you dare try that once in a lifetime crazy to death experience? For me, HELL YEAHhh!
